SB256 is the Bill Number. There is a public hearing on it tomorrow at 1 o'clock. Senate immigration bill expands Alabama Homeland Security under the premise of enforcement!! This is WHY the immigration bill is being stalled. Do we want to EXPAND the power of that agency? No we do not and what does it have to do with immigration when this department has been used aggressively against citizens of the United States?
We strongly URGE ALL CONSERVATIVES IN THIS STATE to get behind the FEW brave people we have in Montgomery who are standing up against the corruption to stop this bill because of what it contains. It has been "business as usual" in Montgomery so far. This is a pleasant development. Please make plans to attend the public hearing tomorrow, March 29 at 1:00 so that you can let your voices be heard. We want an immigration bill but we don't want to expand the nazi-like or stalin-like DHS in order to achieve that. Let's get an immigration bill passed that DOESN"T further empower DHS!
