FairTax Meet Up, Pelham, Alabama

So I have set a time for us to have a meeting. Unfortunately it is out a few weeks, due to scheduling issues and summertime visitors (for us). It will be Sunday, August 15th at 3pm. I have talked with Walter Caron co-owner of Nino's Italian Restaurant here in Pelham. He is willing to offer a back room for us to host our meeting under the stipulation that we eat some of their fantastic pizza (which also helps in discussion!!!). The room has a 50" HDTV available for use should we choose this location to have regular monthly informational meetings. So, with all that being said, please respond back to me to let me know if you will be able to attend so, RSVP. We can discuss future arrangements during the meeting.

What I would like to happen here is for us to discuss our plans to move forward with getting the info out for upcoming events and even brainstorm other ideas about getting the word out about the FairTax. So please put your thinking caps on, fire up some ideas and bring them with you. I would prefer we do not use this meeting to discuss the ins/outs of the FairTax as everyone listed is very familiar with it already, we need to focus on how to shed that light on fellow Alabamians in Dist. 6 (maybe 7 too).

Two events that are quickly approaching are the Butterbean Festival (Pinson; 9/3-4, $125-175 late/application/booth fee depending on our status as non-profit vs. political ) and the Whistle Stop Festival (Irondale; 9/25, $50 booth fee) that we should try to get to.
