Bombard Boehner continues...
We may not have won today's battle against the Continuing Resolution, but we sent a warning shot across the bow of the sinking big government ship. Mark Levin said "Speaker Boehner has sold out conservatives - he went against what the American people wanted, and instead played politics." Well 54 Tea Party GOP Congressman voted against Speaker Boehner and in 3 weeks we will see more join the "Nays" vote. Once again when we needed strength and leadership we got "play it safe and can kicking". America needs a leader; a common sense, dyed in the wool Pro-American, a solid to the core voice of reason leader. Until then we the Patriots, Tea Party Strong, must take up the slack. One wee bit of good news, also passed was $6 billion in cuts, which exceeds what the Democrats proposed in their budget for the rest of the year .
We have 3 weeks, when the next resolution comes up for a vote again, we need to be ready. No funding for Obama Care - Period. The GOP is more focused on cutting funding for NPR then Obama Care, can we not do both? Can we not with all the staff and interns find a way to cut across the board?
Speaker Boehner said the Tea Party doesn't understand how DC works. News flash Speaker Boehner - DC doesn't work and hasn't for a very long time.
Lets continue the calls, faxes and emails every day until DC is working, working for the America people, for the future of our children and working under the constraints of the U.S.Constitution. Insist that language used in the next appropriations bill be encluded that will completely and permanently defund ObamaCare. And that the $105 Billion in automatic appropriations hidden in Obamacare by the previous Congress be effectively rescinded.
