Comment by Steve Ross on August 5, 2011 at 8:00pm Marcelo -- you speak the truth in righteous anger!
I have said this before, I say it now, and I will continue to say it in the days and months to come. If you thought the 2010 election was the turnaround point, that we had sent a message and won the battle, you have now been given an object, in-your-face-lesson to the contrary.
This is a long fight. One election will not do it. Even if we repeat the sweep in 2012, by taking the Senate AND the White House -- by no means a lock -- we will have only begun. We must, for the sake of this country and our children and grand children, and their children after them, stay in this fight, dig in for the long haul, and come back stronger each time we are slapped in the face by the dead fish we send to Congress.
Summer soldiers and sunshine patriots need not apply. Stay angry. Stay motivated. Stay involved.

PRESIDENT FULLER'S NOTE
After numerous suggestions that our club move to a new location more suitable for growth, we will hold our regularly scheduled meeting on Saturday, July 16 at the Vestavia Hills Library.
Breakfast is still at 8 A.M. and the program at 9 A.M. The library will offer you two options: Continental Breakfast - $7, Coffee and Juice - $3. I would ask that you please choose one of the two options because we are working with a guarantee.
I am hopeful that everyone will attend and give as much input as possible to the board members as to where you would like to hold the August 13th meeting when our speaker will be Lieutenant Governor Kay Ivey.
Very Truly Yours,
Joe E. Fuller
